#SundayStory-She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.-Proverbs 31:26

My mother maintained her daily task of keeping the Day Care Center going but her home life and keeping us active in the church became a topic of conversation this weekend. My sister mentioned one of the reasons my mother found it necessary to be even more active in the church was because of an incident that happened to her when she was working at the local nursing home. This particular Sunday she was forced to work on a day one of my siblings was scheduled to be baptized. I was told she actually had that day off and someone called in. The owners of the nursing home made it clear she would be fired if she didn’t come in, Becoming the Director of B&B Day Care & later recognized as a Child Development Center, afforded my mother to be free on Sundays and also opened the door for her involvement in church. (below is the continued History of B & B page -3) Pictures included: My KINDERGARTEN GRADUATION “CLASS OF 1971”.
