#TEACHING TUESDAYS-GRADUATION DAY SEVENTY YEARS LATER! The Great Grands!

“And we pray that you may live a life worthy of the Lord, and may please him in every way; bearing fruit in every good work, and growing in the knowledge of God.” -Colossians 1=10

As we prepare for the COVID 19 GRADUATION of my great-niece Rayven and my great-niece Nevaeh(not pictured), I am taken back to the many graduations that took place at B & B-Day Care Center!  As posted previously, those were some great times.  However, I often think about her very own high school graduation picture. The picture that I stared as long as I could remember.  That beautiful high school graduate with her crisp and prestigious cap and gown. I recall how proud she was to say she graduated from Immaculate Conception High School. She always told the stories of Father Hines and Sister Mary Frickland and I sat there listening, holding on to every word she said. She talked about how she would come home on the weekends but stayed during the week with our Cousin whom we called “Cousin Sis”.  She spoke of her means of transportation or should I say the lack of was to catch the mail truck back and forth from Keysville, Georgia often times riding along with baby chickens or whatever that the mail trucks in the 1950s delivered to the country.
